This is the first Tachyon install I have done. It went well. We had some difficulties, but this is normal for a new system. Ended with RX EbNo of 11.6, Rx Power of -31, Tx EsNo of -16.9

Customer is very happy with the system. He is also using VoIP with Vonage and has a 1 second delay aprox.

Front View. Just as a note - you need at least 2 or 3 people to lift that beast into place (especially if it is a high as this one)

|

Back Of Dish. He has needed to beef up the pole as it will sway in the wind.

|

Customer can clean and load 1 grain car an hour (and this is a conservitive #)

This is another old install. This was a little high and scarry. Imagine hanging over the side of the roof with a 1/23 inch wrench, that was me.

New .98 meter install for Touchwood Family Services on the Daystar Reserve. Building was large, and there was much cable used in the install. System went up fine and signal was easy to find. Used the Lacuuna meter (worked well, but I can't wait till I get my new MC30 spectrum analyzer).

Signal Strenth 65, cross pole was hitting 92 (average 87,88). G4R

I was getting a speed test of 800kbs on each PC. However they are planing on using VPN. When the VPN was turned on on all three PC's the speed was down to 44k. I told them to leave the VPN off unless they needed and try not to surf while the VPN was runnign unless neccesary.

Custom made shelf to house all of the electronincs. Have a DW6000 modem, Lincsys router, and DLink 8 port switch.

|

There is alot of cabling in the band office as you can see. We only hooked the Family service up however (only 3 cat5 cables for high speed). I did run a 4th cable for easy add on.

.98 Meter Dish for NE Terminal at Ponas Lake.
Signal 82 Cross Pole 85 on G11 990 2k

Back Of Dish. If you see the forklift to the left. That was my ladder for this job. Hey why use a ladder when you can ride in style.

Just to note I finally got my Treo 600 with Camera so there will be many more post to come as I always have a camera on me now.

New Install - Wynyard. A little high up but I placed the picnic table behind the ladder so I don't break something like our other installer. Safety first they say.

Repair - Bad LNBF. Ran factory reset 4 times and 2 recievers before I changed the LNB. I would have changed it earlier but I had put a new one on yesterday.
